Long before there was a brand, an award celebration, a foundation, or a business, there was a woman who believed her life should mean something.
 

Dr. Carolyn Horne Robins has always had a natural desire to lead, serve, and encourage others. As early as 19 years old, she understood the importance of being an example of what a woman could become when she believed in herself, trusted God, and refused to allow life's circumstances to determine her future.

Her journey, however, has not been without challenges.
 

Carolyn has experienced setbacks, disappointments, grief, and seasons when she had to rebuild herself while still finding the strength to encourage everyone around her. Instead of allowing those experiences to make her bitter, she began using them to help other women understand that difficult chapters do not have to become the ending of their stories.
 

One of the most defining chapters of Carolyn's life came in 2017 when she lost her mother after a long battle with cancer. The loss changed her. Her mother had been an important part of her life, and learning how to move forward without her created a pain that could not simply be explained away. As Carolyn approached her 50th birthday in January 2018, she found herself thinking deeply about life, legacy, womanhood, and the woman who had helped shape her.
 

She knew she wanted to celebrate turning 50, but she also knew she wanted the moment to mean more than a birthday party.
 

She wanted to honor her mother.  What began as conversations surrounding her milestone birthday and her mother's memory quickly became something much greater. In less than two and a half months, Carolyn took an idea, planned it, organized it, and brought it to life. That vision became the Strength of a Woman beHER Awards, a celebration created to recognize women for their strength, service, leadership, perseverance, and impact.
 

What began from a place of personal loss became a place where other women could be seen.

Year after year, the vision continued to grow. Carolyn realized that beHER was becoming more than an annual event. It represented something she had been living long before she ever gave it a name: the courage for a woman to embrace who she is, walk in her purpose, overcome what tried to stop her, and become everything God created her to be.
 

Today, her various ventures are being brought together under one vision, the beHER brand.

For Carolyn, beHER is more than a name on a logo. It is personal.  She has had to be her.
 

She has had to become the woman who kept going when life hurt, the woman who believed again after disappointment, the woman who served others while carrying her own burdens, and the woman who turned some of her greatest pain into purpose.

Her commitment to service is also reflected in the beHER Foundation, created to support women battling cancer through emotional, spiritual, practical, and financial assistance. In many ways, the foundation brings Carolyn's journey full circle. The experience of watching her own mother battle cancer created an understanding of what illness can mean not only for the woman fighting it, but also for the family walking beside her.
 

Her work extends into ministry as well. Dr. Robins serves as an Elder and Youth Pastor at The Olivet Church, where she is passionate about developing the next generation and helping young people build an authentic relationship with God. Ministry has remained at the center of who she is, influencing how she leads, serves, creates, and conducts business.
 

Education has also been an important part of her story. After enduring years of setbacks and challenges, Carolyn earned her Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, an accomplishment that represents far more to her than a diploma. It is evidence that delay does not mean denial and that there is no expiration date on completing what you started. She has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarian Leadership, recognizing her commitment to leadership and service.
 

As an author, Carolyn has taken another part of her story and placed it on the page. Through inspirational and faith-centered writing, she uses her experiences, imagination, and voice to encourage readers to confront real-life struggles while holding on to faith, healing, love, and hope.
 

Her entrepreneurial journey continues through Sacred Sips, her luxury coffee brand. Sacred Sips reflects Carolyn's love for creating meaningful experiences and bringing people together. More than coffee, the vision is centered around slowing down, connecting, reflecting, and creating sacred moments in the middle of everyday life.
 

She is also the founder of Sis. Let's Pray, a faith-centered movement created to bring women together through prayer, encouragement, sisterhood, and spiritual growth.
 

When all of these pieces are placed together, the ministry, the books, the awards, the foundation, the businesses, and the movements, they tell one story.
 

They tell the story of a woman who decided that what she survived would not be wasted.
 

Dr. Carolyn Horne Robins is an entrepreneur, business owner, author, pastor, visionary, and community leader, but underneath every title is simply a woman who believes in helping other people become whole, recognize their value, and discover their purpose.
